The scimitar is a curved sword from the Middle East. The sword is intended for mounted combat as seen in the BF1 trailer. Its unclear whether or not there will be a usable scimitar in the multiplayer.
The trench knife is a cool looking knife designed for close quarters trench warfare. It is usually seen accompanied with a knuckle guard, sometimes with spikes attached to it.

There doesn't appear to be any standard issue clubs and rather they seem to be an improvised weapon. This could really open up customization options for this weapon in BF1.
