10 Movies Stars With Surprisingly Dark Pasts
As an actor, Samuel L Jackson utilises his intense glare and persuasive manner to intimidate and threaten all manner of villains. In 1969, Jackson and other students channelled great vengeance and furious anger when they held teaching staff hostage at Morehouse College, demanding a reform of the curriculum - it worked, but Jackson was convicted for unlawful confinement. Sam also started moving in the same circles as the Black Panther movement when it became militant, but in a move reminiscent of the Fresh Prince, his mother sent him to live in LA, where he would forever be confused with Laurence Fishburne.
