On your official document permitting you to operate a motorized vehicle, you will see there is an expiration date. Driving with an expired license is an offense and will receive penalties if caught operating a motorized vehicle. Please renew your license right away at your local MVD Express. If you have not been driving for awhile and have had an expired license for more than 5 years, you will have to take the written exam again.
