Brampton Beast
The Brampton Beast are the only active Canadian professional ice hockey team in the ECHL since the 2014-15 season. An affiliate of the National Hockey League's Montreal Canadiens and the American Hockey League's St. John's IceCaps, the team originally played in the Central Hockey League for one year during the 2013-14 season prior to the league's folding. Based in Brampton, Ontario, the Beast play their home games at the Powerade Centre on Kennedy Road.

The Manchester Monarchs were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). They played in Manchester, New Hampshire, at the Verizon Wireless Arena. They have been the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League (NHL) Los Angeles Kings since 2001. For the 2015-16 season, the Monarchs traded places with the Kings' affiliate in the ECHL, the Ontario Reign; the AHL franchise moved to Ontario, California, and play at Citizens Business Bank Arena where they became the new Ontario Reign, while the ECHL team moved to New Hampshire retaining the Manchester Monarchs name.

Fort Wayne Komets
The Fort Wayne Komets are a minor league ice hockey team in the ECHL. The team was previously a member of the Central Hockey League and the International Hockey League before it ceased operations and several of its former teams joined the CHL in 2010. The Komets also played in the previous iteration of the International Hockey League from 1952 until 1999, when they joined the UHL (which took the IHL name in 2007). They have won four post-season championship titles in the original IHL in 1963, 1965, 1973 and 1993, four in the UHL/second IHL in 2003, 2008, 2009 and 2010, and one in the CHL in 2012. They play their home games at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The team was founded in 2009 in the Central Hockey League (CHL) where they played for five seasons, winning the Ray Miron President's Cup twice. The Wichita Thunder are a minor league hockey team based in Wichita, Kansas, United States. The team played in the Central Hockey League from 1992 until 2014, and then in the ECHL since the 2014-15 season. From 1992 until December 2009 the Thunder played in the Britt Brown Arena located in the northern Wichita suburb of Park City.
