The Selkirk Rex, like all other Rex breeds, is characterized by their curly coat. They are a young breed, but they have already become very popular and loving pets. Because they are very social and people-oriented, they don't do well on their own and would probably prefer human companionship over another pet. So if you don't have a lot of time to spend with a pet, the Selkirk Rex is probably not the best choice for you.
