Florida Gulf Coast University
The FGCU baseball team has won the Atlantic Sun Conference championship three years in a row, and became eligible to compete in the NCAA post season in the 2010 season after the two-year NCAA reclassifying period. FGCU has several former baseball players playing in the minor leagues, and has two pitchers (Chris Sale, Casey Coleman) pitching in the majors.

Jacksonville University
The Jacksonville Dolphins baseball team began play in 1957. It competed in the small-school College Division until 1969, its first season in the University Division (which later became Division I). Its first conference membership was in the Sun Belt Conference, where it first played in 1978. The Dolphins were affiliated with that conference until 1998, when they joined the Trans America Athletic Conference (later renamed the Atlantic Sun).

Kennesaw State University
In their short history, the Owls have had 32 players who have been drafted by MLB teams. Five of their alumni have reached the Major Leagues, including Jason Jones of the Texas Rangers, Chad Jenkins of the Toronto Blue Jays, Brett Campbell of the Washington Nationals, and Willie Harris, who earned a World Series ring with the Chicago White Sox in 2005, of the Cincinnati Reds.

The NJIT Highlanders baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, New Jersey, USA. The team competes in the Atlantic Sun Conference within the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The team plays its home games at Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium in Newark, New Jersey. The Highlanders are coached by Brian Guiliana.

University of North Florida
North Florida's baseball program was founded in 1988. They play their home games at Dusty Rhodes Field at Harmon Stadium. The team was established under the leadership of Dusty Rhodes, who served as head coach from 1988 to 2010. Since its inception, the Ospreys baseball team has won thirteen conference titles: six in the NAIA, six in NCAA Division II, and one in NCAA Division I and has made a total of sixteen playoff appearances: six in the NAIA and ten in NCAA Division II.

The head coach of the Spartans baseball team is Matt Fincher. He has been the head coach for 11 years and has rebuilt the baseball program. "The 2005 Spartans finished with the program's best ever record as a member of NCAA Division II.
