The Southern Jaguars baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States. The team is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The team plays its home games at Lee-Hines Field in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Jaguars are coached by Roger Cador.

Coach Mitch Hill enters his third year as the head baseball coach at Alabama A&M University. He was the 2014 - 2015 Southwestern Athletic Conference's Baseball Coach of the Year.

The Alabama State Hornets baseball team represent's Alabama State University. The Hornets play their home games at the Wheeler-Watkins Baseball Complex as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. They are led by head coach Mervyl Melendez, in his fourth season at Alabama State.

The Alcorn State Braves represent Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi in intercollegiate athletics. They field fifteen teams including men and women's basketball, cross country, golf, tennis, and track and field; women's-only soccer, softball, and volleyball; and men's-only baseball and football.

The Grambling State Tigers baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana, U.S. The team is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The team plays its home games at Ralph Waldo Emerson Jones Park and Wilbert Ellis Field in Grambling, Louisiana. The Tigers are coached by James Cooper.

Head Coach Omar Johnson enters his ninth season as the Jackson State Tigers head coach. In his six year tenure at Jackson State, Johnson has posted seven 30 win seasons, four consecutive (from 2006-07 to 2009-10), averaging 34 wins a season in his 8 years as head coach.

The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, Mississippi, USA. The team is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The team plays its home games at Magnolia Field in Itta Bena, Mississippi. Fourteen year head coach Doug Shanks retired on November 12, 2014.

The Prairie View A&M Panther baseball team captured its first Southwestern Athletic Conference championship in the school's history and won back-to-back SWAC titles in 2006 and 2007. During the last five years, Prairie View A&M has made four consecutive appearances in the SWAC's title game, finishing as the conference's runner-up in 2005 and 2008. Prairie View A&M recently captured its third SWAC title in 2012, defeating Mississippi Valley State University. Prior to a double header against the Texas Southern Tigers, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the renovated baseball stadium on April 26, 2014. Along with the opening, the stadium was formally dedicated to former Panthers baseball coach, John W. Tankersley.

The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, USA. The team is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The team plays its home games at the Torii Hunter Baseball/Softball Complex in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The Golden Lions are coached by Carlos James.
