Alcorn State
Courtney Garrett Pruitt enters her first season as the third leader in school history to lead the Alcorn State women's basketball program. Pruitt began her coaching career at Lon Morris College in 2005. During her tenure, she assisted the team to the Region 14 conference semi-finals. After three years of coaching at Lon Morris, she continued her professional growth and became the head coach at Ranger College for two years.

Arkansas Pine Bluff
Nate Kilbert, the reigning Southwestern Athletic Conference coach-of-the-year who led Mississippi Valley State University to the 2011-12 league championship and to a berth in the Women's National Invitation Tournament, was chosen as the new head coach at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff on May 4, 2012.

Grambling State
Nadine Domond is a former #1 point guard in the US High School All-American, and a member of the Silver Medal Jones Cup Team from the University of Iowa. As a senior in Connecticut, Domond scored 2,300 points at Bridgeport Central, leading the Hilltoppers to the 1994 Class LL championship. Highly recruited, Nadine chose to attend Iowa and play for Hall of Famer Vivian Stringer, now head coach of Rutgers University. Domond earned second team All-Big 10 honors for field goals made (118), fifth in assists (357), and seventh in steals (177) during her senior year after two straight honorable mention honors.

Entering her fourth year, JSU Head Coach, Surina Dixon has worked tirelessly in building a culture conducive to winning and academic success in the women's basketball program at Jackson State University. Her aggressive up-tempo style play deemed as 94 Feet of Heat, inspires her players to defend at a higher level coupled with a high-powered offensive system.

Mississippi Valley State
Elvis Robinson enters his third season as the head coach of the Mississippi Valley State University women's basketball team. In his first season, Robinson led the Devilettes to a 17-15 record including an appearance in the SWAC Tournament championship. Then during the 2013-14 campaign, the Devilettes finished 9-21 (8-10 SWAC) before falling in the first round of the SWAC Tournament. Robinson coached Ashley Beals, who was named the SWAC Freshamn of the Year.

Prairie View A&M
Dawn Brown was officially named Prairie View A&M's head women's basketball coach in April, 2014. Brown became the fifth head coach of the Lady Panthers since the program became an NCAA Division I member program in time for the 1981-82 season; she served her first year as the interim head coach in 2013-14.
