Fordham University
In May of 2001, the Fordham softball program had just completed its 17th varsity year and was still looking for its first winning season. Searching for a new head coach who could infuse a new attitude into the program and take it in a new direction, the Rams found Bridget Orchard. Under her guidance, and with her youthful energy and tremendous passion for the game, the Rams have become one of the top programs in the Atlantic 10 and the nation.

George Mason University
Joe Verbanic enters his eleventh year as the head coach of George Mason softball. Verbanic brings with him more than 20 years combined coaching experience at both the collegiate and high school levels. Most recently, Verbanic was at Alta Vista High School (1986-2004) where he taught several courses, including physical education, weights & fitness training and Life Skills. Additionally, Verbanic served as an assistant to the San Diego State coaching staff at the same time.

George Washington University
Stacey Schramm enters her sixth season as head coach of the George Washington University softball team in the fall of 2015. During her first season at the helm of the Colonials program, Coach Schramm made an immediate impact, as her squad finished the 2011 season with 10 more wins than in 2010.

La Salle University
Ron Shoemaker, a former assistant softball coach at La Salle from 1994-97 who has ten years of Division I coaching experience, is in his second year as the head coach for the Explorers. Ron brings a great deal of experience at the NCAA Division I level, especially in our geographical area, Brennan said. He is committed to the student-athlete experience and has had success at every stop during his career. We look forward to him leading our softball program.

Saint Joseph's University
In her nine seasons, Saint Joseph's head coach Terri Adams has transformed the Hawks into one of the elite teams in the Atlantic 10 and the region. The 2013 A-10 Coach of the Year has led her squad to seven Atlantic 10 Tournament appearances and three A-10 title games, with 25 Hawks earning All-Conference honors and 12 garnering All-Region accolades.

Saint Louis University
The Saint Louis softball team enjoyed the best season in program history in 2010. The Billikens established a school record in wins with a 30-26-1 slate and established team records in hits, runs, doubles and home runs. As the Number 4 seed in the Atlantic 10 Championships, under the previous Coach, John Conway. Currently, the Billikens are coached by Christy Connoyer.

St. Bonaventure University
The St. Bonaventure Bonnies softball team (formerly the St. Bonaventure Brown Squaws) represents St. Bonaventure University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10). The Bonnies are currently led by head coach Mike Threehouse. The team plays its home games at the St. Bonaventure Softball Diamond located in the western portion of McGraw-Jennings Field on the university's campus.

University of Dayton
Coach Cara LaPlaca, now entering her ninth season as UD's head coach, has implemented a hard-working, successful culture of excellence with the University of Dayton Softball program. In 2015, LaPlaca, the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year, led her team to a 39-14 overall record, breaking the record for most wins in the program's history. This was the most wins in a single season for LaPlaca, and her sixth, 20-win season at UD. The Flyers won their first Atlantic 10 Regular Season Championship with a 20-2 record. The Flyers took second in the Atlantic 10 tournament, ending the most successful season in school history.

University of Rhode Island
Bridget Hurlman was named the eight head coach in Rhode Island softball history on July 17, 2015. Hurlman came to Rhode Island after spending six seasons as an assistant coach at Manhattan College. She served as the recruiting coordinator and hitting coach for Head Coach Tom Pardalis. During Hurlman's time with the Jaspers, Manhattan was 59-45 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play, finishing .500 or better in league play in five out of six seasons. In 2015, Manhattan was 26-20 overall and 13-7 in MAAC play.
