Campbell University
In his first season at the helm, the Campbell softball program finished the 2015 season 28-27 including a seven-game winning streak to close out the regular season. Four players from the squad were named to NCCSIA all-state teams including three on the first-team. Todd Bradley was named head softball coach at Campbell University, in a June 9, 2014 announcement by Athletics Director Bob Roller.

Charleston Southern University
Shane Winkler enters his eighth season as the head softball coach at Charleston Southern in 2015-16 and closes in on 200 career victories with the Buccaneers this upcoming season. Winkler guided the Bucs to their third 30-win season under his tutelage in the 2015 season as CSU posted a 31-28 record, including a program-record 22 wins at home. The Buccaneers had six Big South Player/Pitcher of the Week honorees this season and had four players recognized on the postseason Big South All-Conference team with Amanda Matsumoto, Cheyenne Gandara, Marci Christian and Stephanie Baro all earning honors.

Gardner-Webb University
The winningest coach in Gardner-Webb softball history, head coach Tom Cole begins his 16th season at the helm of the Runnin' Bulldogs in 2015-16. Cole came to Gardner-Webb in 2000-01 and produced immediate results, overseeing GWU's transition to the NCAA Division I level and directing the Runnin' Bulldogs to a school-record 36 wins in just his second year in Boiling Springs, N.C.

The Liberty Lady Flames softball team represents Liberty University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Big South Conference. The Lady Flames are currently led by head coach Dot Richardson. The team plays its home games at Liberty Softball Field located on the university's campus.

Longwood University
Longwood softball head coach Kathy Riley is set for her 19th season at the helm of the Lancer softball program in the 2015-16 season, as well as her 23rd overall. Throughout her storied career, Riley has posted an overall record of 657-385-1 while notching a 578-318-1 since taking over the Lancer softball program prior to the 1998 season, including a winning record in 17 of her 18 seasons.

Presbyterian College
Britne is in her second year at Presbyterian College and first as head softball coach with the Blue Hose. She was an assistant coach during the 2013 season. Stubbs joined the Blue Hose in 2013 after a year as an assistant coach at Utah State, working with the Aggie outfielders, along with hitting. Prior to joining the USU coaching staff, Stubbs spent five years as the head softball coach and Senior Woman Administrator at Brevard.

Radford University
Aileen Morales was appointed the eighth head coach of the Highlander softball program on Friday, June 26. Morales came to Radford after spending the past two seasons at Young Harris. While with the Mountain Lions, Morales led the NCAA Division II program to 51 wins. In 2015, Young Harris won a program-record 31 wins while six players were named All-Peach Belt Conference selections.

Winthrop University
Cooke, a 1989 graduate of USC Spartanburg, has turned the Lady Eagle softball program into a nationally competitive team. With back-to-back Big South Conference Championships in 2007 and 2008, Cooke and his staff turned in two of the best seasons in school history. In 2007 he guided the team to a co-championship of the regular season with Liberty, a conference tournament championship and the school's first ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament. In 2008, the team followed up with another regular season championship with a 14-1 record in the league, another conference tournament championship and NCAA Regional.
