Bethune-Cookman University
Laura Watten is in her first season back at Bethune-Cookman University as head softball coach, officially announced at a press conference on August 12, 2014. The B-CU Athletics Hall of Fame member will be enjoying her ninth year overall as head coach of the Wildcats, after spending the previous nine years at the University of Maryland holding a similar position.

Coppin State University
Olivieri comes to Coppin State from Alfred University where he was one of the most successful coaches in the nation. He takes over a program that returns nine players from last season including senior infielder Danielle Smith, who was a first-team all-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) selection.

Delaware State University
Delaware State University officially appointed Amber Jackson as its new head softball coach in October of 2014, the sixth of the program's history. Jackson filled the void left by 2014 MEAC Coach of the Year and DSU Hall-of-Famer Janice Savage, who accepted the head coaching position at Appalachian State. Before coming to DSU, Jackson spent three seasons (2011-14) as an assistant coach at Maryland under now Bethune-Cookman head coach Laura Watten.

Florida A&M University
Vashion Johnson begins his first season on the Florida A&M University Softball staff in 2015-16, after a two-year tour of duty at North Carolina Central University. Among Johnson's range of responsibilities at FAMU will be tutoring the Rattlers at the plate, using his prior experiences to elevate the Orange and Green offensive attack.

Hampton University
Joe DiPietro, who has almost four decades of coaching experience, is entering his second season as head coach of the Hampton University softball program. In 2015, he took over a squad that had won a combined 63 games over the prior two seasons. In his first season with the Lady Pirates, DiPietro won 22 games and led Hampton to an 11-6 mark in conference play.

Howard University
Lauren McCoy was named head coach of the Howard softball team in the summer of 2009. McCoy is no stranger to Howard; she rejoins the Bison after serving as an assistant coach in 2007. McCoy returns to Howard after a one-year stint at Delaware State University. She helped DSU to its first ever MEAC title in 2008 and assisted with administrative duties, scouting and recruiting.

Morgan State University
Larry Hineline enters his first season as Morgan State's new head softball coach for the upcoming 2015 campaign. Hineline becomes the fourth head coach in the program's history. "It's truly a great opportunity to come over to Morgan with its rich history and tradition," said Hineline.

Norfolk State University
Head coach Heidi Cavallo begins her sixth season in 2016 leading a Norfolk State softball program that has been on the upswing during that time. Some of NSU's most successful seasons as a Division I program have come under her reign. In 18 years in the MEAC, the Spartan program has posted five conference records of better than .500, with four of those coming within the last four years. NSU has finished in second place in the Northern Division twice in the past three years after doing so just once in the MEAC in the years prior.

North Carolina A&T State University
On September 11, 2013, Earl M. Hilton III, North Carolina A&T director of athletics, announced the hiring of Kenya Peters as the head softball coach. Peters is just the second full-time head coach in A&T fast pitch program history since its inception in 1993.

North Carolina Central University
With 11 years ears of coaching experience at the Division I, II and III levels, as well as semi-professional playing experience, Theresa Stephens was named as the new head softball coach at North Carolina Central University on June 27, 2011. I am very excited about joining the Eagle family and I am very blessed to be given this opportunity to rebuild the program, said Stephens. Having the opportunity to coach against these young ladies during the past few years at Campbell University really did inspire me more to want to coach them and be a part of North Carolina Central University.

Gonzalez enters his sixth season as the Head Coach for the SSU Lady Tiger's softball team. Gonzalez has been instrumental in the turn-around of SSU's softball program, after inheriting a team that had only nine Division I wins in the previous five seasons.
