Janay Yancey is entering her first season as head coach of the Hampton University volleyball program after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach with the Lady Pirates. She takes over a program that has won 40 matches over the past two season, along with back-to-back MEAC Tournament titles.

Howard University
In 2012, Shaun Kupferberg was named as the new head women's volleyball coach and in four seasons has led a gradual and complete turnaround of the Bison program. Kupferberg and the Bison went from winning one game and missing the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Tournament in 2012 to making the Tournament semifinals in 2013, the MEAC Championship Game in 2014 and winning the conference in 2015.

Delaware State
Whitney Johnson, a former Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) standout, joined the Delaware State volleyball program as an assistant coach in May of 2015. I'm very excited for this opportunity, said Johnson, who spent the previous two seasons at Bethune-Cookman as a graduate assistant. I look forward to helping this program become better each year while I'm in this position.

Entering her 27th season at the helm of the Lady Bears' program, head coach Ramona Riley-Bozier has come to define Morgan State volleyball. Coach Riley-Bozier is easily one of the most decorated coaches in the history of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and is one of the most accomplished coaches in any sport in the history of Morgan State athletics.

Bethune-Cookman
Brittany Williams is beginning her first season as the acting head coach for Bethune-Cookman Volleyball during the 2015 season. She was named acting heads coach by B-CU Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, Lynn W. Thompson, on August 1, 2015. Now entering into her third year with the Bethune-Cookman volleyball program, Williams spent the previous two seasons as an assistant coach under former head coach Raphael.

University of Maryland Eastern Shore
Toby Rens returned to the UMES volleyball program in 2014 after a decade away from Princess Anne. In 16 seasons, he has accumulated a 311-237 overall record. The architect of the success experienced by UMES Volleyball over the past decade can really be credited to Rens, who inherited a program who had not won in over two years.

Norfolk State
Interim head coach Brandon Duvall begins his sixth year leading the Norfolk State volleyball program in 2015. It will also mark his eighth straight season coaching in the Spartan program in some capacity. Norfolk State's best four-year stretch in its Division I history coincided with Duvall's first four years in charge of the program. Overall in 18 seasons as a D-I program, Norfolk State has posted three winning records in MEAC play. All three of those have come during Duvall's tenure as head coach, including the most successful season yet, in 2012.

Nicki Holmes was named as North Carolina Central University's fourth head volleyball coach on April 15, 2014. Jolanta Graham enters her second year as interim head volleyball coach for Savannah State University. Graham took over duties as interim head coach midway through the 2012 season. Graham, a Lodz, Poland native, comes to Savannah State from the Hilton Head Volleyball Club, where she served as a co-founder, developmental director for coaches and players, and a coach for 12-18 year olds, since 2010.
