One of my all time favorite Cabs is the Special Selection - Caymus Vineyards produces two Cabernets Sauvignons - a Napa Valley and the venerable Special Selection.

I really only like the reserve chardonnay from Beringer. To enhance the natural richness of our Chardonnay we fermented the juice in predominately new French oak barrels. Weekly lees stirring enhanced the toasty notes, and integrated the oak flavors for an overall balance, while complete malolactic fermentation encouraged lush creaminess. Sauvignon.

The 2012 Insignia is one of my most favorite wines - Joseph Phelps was one of the great visionaries of Napa Valley. His legacy is one of extraordinary quality. He was one of the first to see the merit in blending, which his legendary Insignia, which first debuted in 1974, has proven year after year. It remains one of the worldâ??s finest Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated blends.

This maybe a lesser known winery to some but the wine is amazing! 2013 Poetry Cab is amazing! Cliff Lede Vineyards combines estate vineyards, winemaking, art, and architecture into one of Napa Valleyâ??s most modern and diversified estates.

Love this wine! The Bond St Eden is a very rich Cab that will not disappoint. ST. EDEN is based upon an 11-acre rocky knoll that is part of a beautiful estate located just north of the Oakville Crossroad. Eden is an historical reference to this region's designation on nineteenth century maps.

Ok so I have never had this wine but it is on my bucket list to try! Screaming Eagle Winery and Vineyards is a California wine estate producing limited amounts of varietal wine; due to the small quantities produced and high prices commanded, their wines are considered cult wines. The winery is located in Oakville, California, north of the town of Napa in the Napa Valley - bucket list wine

Ok I have got to say this is a great wine! Many wine experts have stated that the 1994 maybe the greatest California Red ever produced. "Harlan Estate might be the single most profound red wine made not just in California, but in the world."

Really good less expensive California Cab - Perched high upon Napa's elusive Howell Mountain, among a dramatic hillside of Manzanita trees, CADE Winery is a unique, state-of-the-art winery, awarded LEED Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Not at the top of my list but the reserve Cab is a very good wine. A less expensive but really good California Cab! Founded in 1973, Mount Veeder Winery is a hidden jewel basking in the clear mountain sunshine high above the Napa Valley floor. Set high atop the Mayacamas Mountains overlooking the southern end of the Napa Valley, Mount Veeder Winery specializes in the classic red Bordeaux varieties.
