By the time he was 29, Byron Deeter had founded — then sold — a cloud computing company to IBM, which picked up his firm for a couple hundred million dollars. Since then, he has taken the lead on more than 15 investments for Bessemer Venture Parnters, where he is the youngest managing partner in one of the world’s oldest and largest venture capital firms. The company manages $4 billion in assets, has 140 active portfolio companies and employs more than 100 people in six offices worldwide. He sits on the board of directors of cloud computing companies Eloqua and Cornerstone OnDemand, and is named on the Forbes Midas List for the Top 100 most active private investors.
