Andrew Braccia joined Accel in 2007 and focuses on consumer-oriented mobile and web services companies. He was the first investor and board member in Slack, lynda.com (acquired by LinkedIn), Squarespace, Vox Media, Prezi, MyFitnessPal (acquired by Under Armour), 99designs and Cloudera. He also works closely with the teams at Braintree (acquired by PayPal), Etsy (public), Xero (public) and UserTesting.

Andrew Braccia joined Accel in 2007 bringing with him a decade of operational and leadership experience. His primary areas of investment interest include consumer Internet and software businesses with a focus on web search, digital media and online advertising. Andrew currently sits on the board of Cloudera, High Gear Media, a next generation automotive content and advertising network, OpenX, the world’s leading Ad Server, SB Nation, the leading sports blog network and TRUSTe, a provider of online privacy certification.

Andrew Braccia of Accel Partners doesn’t tweet or write blog posts. He rarely talks with the media. But that doesn’t mean the 39-year-old isn’t working it. In fact, Braccia may have landed as big a deal for Accel as Facebook, whose $12.7 million Series A investment produced billions of dollars for its investors.
