David Moorer West (born August 29, 1980) is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Xavier University where in 2003, he became the first Musketeer to ever win the AP Player of the Year. West is a two-time NBA All-Star, being named to the West team in 2008 and 2009. In 2017, West won his first NBA Championship as a member of the Warriors.
