Kia M. Ruiz is a strategist-for-hire lending her biological sciences and education expertise to community entities, brands, not-for-profits and education institutions. She is the current Interim Director for Right to Know GMO Colorado as well as DenWhere, a local economic development group serving the greater Denver area. Kia enjoys relaying scientific information to the general public through consulting, teaching, and volunteering at her local zoo. She used to blog but went on a hiatus with the GMO labeling campaign in her state in 2014.
