The Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team is the NCAA Division I men's basketball program of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. They currently compete in the Big East Conference. The Bluejays have won a record 15 MVC regular season conference titles and a record 12 MVC Conference Tournament titles.

The DePaul Blue Demons men's basketball program is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's basketball program of DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. The team competes in the Big East Conference and plays their home games in the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

The Georgetown University men's basketball team, which, like all sports teams at Georgetown University, is named the Georgetown Hoyas, is a basketball program in the NCAA Division I Big East Conference. Georgetown's first intercollegiate men's basketball team was formed in 1907. John Thompson III, son of the accomplished former coach John Thompson, is the current head coach. The Hoyas historically have been well regarded not only for their team success, but also for generating players that succeed after graduation both on the court, such as Patrick Ewing, Dikembe Mutombo and Allen Iverson, and off, such as Congressman Henry Hyde and General James L. Jones.

The Marquette Golden Eagles men's basketball team (formerly the Marquette Warriors) represents Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Marquette currently competes in the Big East. It last played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2013. Marquette maintains rivalries and highly anticipated games with several other schools, including the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Louisville, University of Notre Dame, University of Pittsburgh, and DePaul University.

The Providence Friars men's basketball team represents Providence College in NCAA Division I competition, in which they are founding member of the Big East Conference. They play their home games at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Since 2011, the head coach is Ed Cooley.

The Seton Hall Pirates men's basketball program is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's basketball program of Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. The team competes in the Big East Conference and plays their home games in the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The St. John's Red Storm men's basketball team represents the St. John's University in Queens, New York. The team participates in the Big East Conference. They are currently coached by Chris Mullin, a Hall of Fame player who is arguably the school's greatest-ever player, who succeeded Steve Lavin after the 2014-15 season.

Villanova University's men's basketball team has competed since the 1920-21 season. Nicknamed the "Wildcats", Villanova is a member of the Big East Conference and the Philadelphia Big Five. The Villanova Wildcats have appeared in the NCAA Tournament 35 times, the 8th highest total in NCAA history.

The Xavier Musketeers men's basketball team represents Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Big East Conference. The Musketeers are currently coached by Chris Mack, in his seventh season after being both an assistant coach and former player at Xavier. Over the past 15 years, Xavier has continued to separate itself as one of the country's premier college basketball programs, coming up just short of the likes of Indiana and Michigan State.
