Standchutze Hellriegel Submachine Gun (Austro-Hungary) [Base Game]
This is a prototype Austro-Hungarian submachine gun that may or may not be included in Battlefield 1. It looks crazy and it actually had an 80 round drum magazine.

Experimental German 08/18 Maxim SMG (Germany) [DLC 2]
Here is an article on Forgotten Weapons that talks about a prototype German submachine gun. DICE are know to put prototype weapons in their games and thus I would not be surprised if this prototype gun made it into Battlefield 1.

Thompson Persuader M1918 (United States) [Free DLC Patch]
This is an extremely difficult gun to find information on. It is a prototype submachine gun developed in 1918 by John T. Thompson. It didn't see combat in WWI as the first shipment was on its way to the front when the war ended. Also known as the Persuader.

Villar-Perosa Submachine Gun (Italy) [In-Game Elite Weapon]
This is about the Villar-Perosa Submachine gun which looks like two guns strapped together with a big iron sight in the middle. I have seen versions of this gun with a hand held stock for infantry use. This gun can only be used on one of the Elite class pickups in game.

Chauchat-Ribeyrolles 1918 (France) [DLC 1]
This is one of the few articles I could find for the Chauchat-Ribeyrolles 1918. There are three models, two of which are submachine guns and one is technically an assault rifle with a stock and magazine. The latter most version is the one that DICE ended up using. The description will explain which are which. One of the versions only has an 8-round magazine though it is described as being very powerful.

Beretta M1918 - Weapon Statistics
Here's a short little article that gives a breakdown of some of the stats for the Beretta M1918. Its entirely possible that DICE will follow these exactly as they typically make their weapons as close a representation to the real thing is possible.
