John Bowlen is now wanting to sell his 31 to 35 percent minority interest in the team, according to his wife, Kerry -- a minority share that does not include any voting rights.

The Denver Broncos are more synonymous with Colorado than Buffalo Bill.

Patrick Dennis Bowlen (born February 18, 1944) is the majority owner of the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). The Bowlen Family, including his two brothers John Bowlen and Bill Bowlen, and sister Marybeth Bowlen, purchased the team from Edgar Kaiser in 1984.

“Well, just thinking it’s a good time to do it and personally I think the price is going to be good and we seem to have some interest,” John Bowlen said.

John Bowlen, the younger brother of Broncos majority owner Pat Bowlen, is looking to sell his minority interest in the team of roughly 30-35 percent, a source close to the matter told The Denver Post.
