Bigrock Mountain Ski Area in Mars Hill, ME offers the highest vertical of any ski area in northern Maine or the Canadian Maritimes.

Squaw Mountain opened for skiing in December 1963 with a Hall T-bar climbing 600ft. and servicing 4 trails. The following season, a second Hall T-bar was installed some 250ft.

Located in the Western Mountain Region of Maine and featuring $29 lift tickets, Black Mountain of Maine is a family affordable ski area that focuses on providing fun for the entire family. Their Alpine Ski and Snowboarding area has a 1385-foot vertical drop and is lit top-to-bottom for night skiing. Black Mountain is also the site of outstanding nordic ski trails and has been the host of several world class championships.

Just 90 minutes north of Portland is one of Maine’s skiing gems. The Camden Snow Bowl has 20 runs, a 4,000-foot triple lift, snowmaking on more than 80 percent of the mountain, night skiing, and ski instructors that moonlight as schooner captains.

Tentative Opening Day is scheduled for December 10. Snowmaking continued all weekend and we received another 2" of fresh snow from Mother Nature today! Keep doing your snow dance!!!!
