Corbett Gaulden was born in Connecticut but raised in Louisiana. The formative years were influenced by being raised in a family in which attending to the things of the Lord were important. While he was in graduate school, the parallel call in his life led to his becoming licensed, and operating, as a "fill-in" pastor for a time. Also while in college, he spent time in Israel. That time was instrumental in initiating a yearning to really know what the Bible was all about and how to relate to the people who lived it. Out of this, in turn, a life-long avocation was formed. Having completed secular education in science and business, he turned those academic skills into the pursuit of fundamental knowledge of the faith that grew in him. Corbett spent time in the US Army learning personal discipline which has paid off over his lifetime. He spent his "working years" as a chemist, a marketing professor and a business college dean. These days he resides in San Angelo, Texas, with his wife, Judy. They have two grown daughters and two grandchildren, all of whom currently reside in Texas. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in business. He also received a PhD from Louisiana State University.
