Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) is located in San Diego, California and was founded in 1902 by Dr. Phineas Bresee for the purpose of meeting the need for a Christian institution in the southern California area. Today, PLNU is committed to not only excelling in the areas of teaching and learning but also to providing "an intentionally Christian community."
