The Dallas Cowboys signed cornerback Nolan Carroll as an unrestricted free agent in the early stages of 2017 free agency. Carroll, originally a fifth round draft pick (145th overall) by the Miami Dolphins in 2010, has played in 101 games with 54 starts over seven NFL seasons with the Dolphins (2010-13) and Philadelphia Eagles (2014-16). He has amassed 263 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks and eight interceptions - one for a touchdown - with 56 pass breakups in his career.
