For the last few weeks, my post {Sweet Dr. Seuss Snack} has been SUPER popular. I'm guessing that everyone is getting ready to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday tomorrow and they are looking for ideas.

I got lucky enough to help put together this super fun, whimsical Dr. Seuss party this past weekend. With bright colors, fun characters and Birthday Express Dr. Seuss themed party supplies, this party is almost as much fun to put together as it was to celebrate.

You may have seen some cute ideas for Dr. Seuss Truffula Trees and we just came up with another one! A Trufulla tree made from a Dollar Store plunger. We love inexpensive crafts and most everything we purchased for this craft was from the dollar store. Sometimes you can even purchase feather boas there (this feather boa I had on hand). If you are having a Dr. Seuss, Lorax party or Read Across America event, the Truffula tree is an inexpensive decoration idea and we share the easy peasy tutorial below.

Wow! This party was so fun to plan and with all that I did, I stillwish I had added a few extra touches. I was trying not to spend a billion dollars and still make it cute.I made the cake myself.

My kids (and their friends!) raved about the strawberry-banana grinch hats I made at Christmas so I'm pretty sure these Cat in the Hat snacks will be a hit. They are super easy, relatively healthy, and fun for a class party. You could assemble the strawberry and banana slices ahead of time and have a station for the kids to draw their own cat face on the marshmallow and attach to the fruit.

Dr. Seuss-themed playtime party to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday. Seuss snacks were served and lots of "props" including Dr. Seuss books and plush toys were arranged for a photo op. Each little guest received a framed Dr. Seuss quote that I designed wrapped in chevron paper.
