Zain Javadd "Zayn" Malik born 12 January 1993, who records mononymously as Zayn (also stylised as ZAYN), is an English singer and songwriter. He was famously known for being in the boy band, One Direction, until his departure in March 2015. Zayn went solo and recorded his own music record, "Mind of Mine" released on 25 March 2016. The album and its lead single, "Pillowtalk", reached number one in a number of countries including the United States.
