“Kristolyn, it doesn’t matter what I tell you. You’re going to do whatever you want.” Sigh, infamous words from my older brother the day after getting my first (and now most regrettable) tattoo. That’s a story for another day. Look, it might’ve been a nicer, fancier way of saying, “You’re stubborn and silly,” but it’s remained my “log line” for life. I, luckily, survived the conservative, clean, suburban streets of Spring, TX and made it to a magical place called Hogwarts. Just kidding, it was Carnegie Mellon University, but same difference. After they gave me my BFA, I skipped outta there to a mystical place called Hollywood, California! This is where the hustle was born. I made some amazing friends (shout out to my peeps Kim & D), rocked fiver killer hairstyles, I convinced enough people to hire me, and got to play my dream role of Timoune in Once On This Island. Time flew by and before I knew it was leaving my job of three years on “The Bold And The Beautiful” on CBS. I even got nominated for some pretty cool awards. Look, the last thing I was nominated for was “Best Personality” out of everyone in my senior class in High School. I’m not bragging. But I’m also not not bragging. I lived. I loved. I even leaped out of a plane while living in LA. Nothing, however, has compared to the grit, authenticity, and pace of New York. So that’s me. That was a lot, but chances are, if you’re reading this it’s because you’re a big fan of our show and wanted to know, “Who is this charming, effervescent chick with the coy smile?” Hi! This is usually the part where I thank you for buying my book, but this is not a forward for my personalized autobiography…or is it? *cue coy smile*
