Michael Milkanin hails from Salt Lake City, Utah. He started training at age 15, and continued as a Dance Theatre Major at Brigham Young University. Michael has worked with numerous national and international choreographers including Derryl Yeager, Nathan Balser, Ihsan Rustem, and Alexandre Munz. He has also choreographed for prestigious dance companies and threatre programs across the state of Utah. After making a Broadway debut in KINKY BOOTS, Michael joined the touring company as the Dance Captain. He is thrilled to share his experience, training and passion for dance and theatre with Broadway Connection students across the country! #BroadwayConnectionFamily @BwayConnection
Michael is from Riverton, Utah; a small town south of Salt Lake City. Recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in Music Dance Theatre. He is now located in NYC. Some favorite roles include Flotsam in The Little Mermaid, Fabrizio in The Light in the Piazza, and Phil Davis in White Christmas. Michael has also been able to perform with Brigham Young University's contemporary and ballet touring dance companies. Along with his love for performing, Michael also enjoys discovering good foreign films and is still on the search for NYC best chocolate brownie.
