Meals on Wheels of Albuquerque helps people live happy, healthy, independent lives by delivering food and friendship straight to our clients’ doors. Founded in 1972, what began with 20 clients today serves over 500 clients each day. They serve any one, of any age, for any reason. Meals on Wheels is the only home delivered meal program with the ability to prepare and deliver eight different diets for issues including diabetes, renal failure, heart issues, chewing and swallowing problems, and more. Beyond that, their delivery volunteers provide a friendly face and a wellness check to their clients who are homebound and alone.
