Thomas Austin Preston, Jr. (December 31, 1928 – April 29, 2012), known as Amarillo Slim, was an American professional gambler known for his poker skills and proposition bets. Preston won the 1972 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event and was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 1992.

Scotty Nguyen is a Vietnamese American professional poker player who is a five-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner, most notably as the winner of the 1998 World Series of Poker Main Event[1] and the 2008 World Series of Poker $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. World Championship. He is the first and currently only player to win both the WSOP Main Event and $50,000 Players' Championship.

Johnny Chan born in Guangzhou, China in 1957 is a Chinese-American professional poker player. He has won 10 World Series of Poker bracelets, including the 1987 and 1988 World Series of Poker main events consecutively.

Phillip Jerome Hellmuth, Jr. (born July 16, 1964) is an American professional poker player who has won a record fourteen World Series of Poker bracelets. He is the winner of the Main Event of the 1989 World Series of Poker (WSOP)[1] and the Main Event of the 2012 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE), and he is a 2007 inductee of the WSOP's Poker Hall of Fame.[3][4] Hellmuth is also known for his temperamental "poker brat" personality.

Phillip Dennis Ivey Jr. (born February 1, 1977), commonly known as Phil Ivey, is an American professional poker player who has won ten World Series of Poker bracelets, one World Poker Tour title, and appeared at nine World Poker Tour final tables. Ivey was at one time regarded by numerous poker observers and contemporaries as the best all-around player in the world.

Douglas Polk (born December 16, 1988) is an American professional poker player. Polk plays under the alias WCGRider, specializing in heads-up No Limit hold'em.

Daniel Negreanu is a Canadian professional poker player who has won six World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and two World Poker Tour (WPT) championship titles. The independent poker ranking service Global Poker Index (GPI) recognised Negreanu as the best poker player of the decade in 2014.

Doyle F. Brunson (born August 10, 1933) is an American poker player who has played professionally for over 50 years. He is a two-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event champion, a Poker Hall of Fame inductee, and the author of several books on poker.
