There’s no greater feeling than walking through the front door of your home after a long day. Unfortunately, that momentary high could quickly vanish if your home doesn’t do anything to improve your mood
Being healthy is not a bad thing. Exercise and making nutrient-dense food choices have positive benefits. But after 15 years in the fitness industry, do you know the pattern I’ve seen?
What if who you are is greater than you or anyone else has ever acknowledged? Believe in yourself, because the truth is, you have the capacity to truly create and change anything you desire. The only thing stopping you is the belief that you can’t.
Do you often find yourself burrowing yourself deeper under your blankets to avoid facing the day? Do you hit the snooze button over and over, hoping that one of these days it’ll stay off and never beep again? Does the thought of becoming a functioning adult feel so overwhelming that you would rather call in sick and hide under your pillow for the rest of the day?
I never thought I’d be proclaiming the positives of an active lifestyle. I spent quite a few years scoffing at the practice, never seeing the point in hitting the gym or getting outside.
“Healthy mindset” does not mean you avoid the things you love. The reason I lost 50 pounds was not because I completely removed the pizza and the occasional glass(es) of wine from my diet. In fact, it was because I allowed myself to have access to these things from time to time that I actually got myself to lose weight.
