Marceline the Vampire Queen has long been one of the most fascinating characters on Adventure Time. And now, it looks like we’re going to be getting our most in-depth look at her backstory yet, with a new miniseries. We caught our first glimpse at New York Comic Con.

Marceline Abadeer (full title: Marceline the Vampire Queen) is one of the main characters in Adventure Time and a half-demon/half-human, and vampire who is over 1003 years old. During her first encounter with Finn and Jake, she forces the two out of their tree fort.

The Queen of Vampires. Over a 1000 years old, Marceline, is laid back, cool, and occasionally scary friend to Finn and Jake. Has daddy issues. He ate her fries. Loves to Rock & Roll.
