Synopsis: Season 12 of this fantasy drama picks up right where it left off, with Sam (Jared Padalecki) kidnapped by British Men of Letters member Toni Bevell (Elizabeth Blackmore); and Dean (Jensen Ackles) in shock at the sight of his mother, Mary (Samantha Smith), who's been long dead. Castiel (Misha Collins) is forced to partner up with Crowley (Mark Sheppard) to search for the vessel-jumping Lucifer, most notably played by guest star Rick Springfield. As Lucifer begins to possess more powerful and influential people to get what he wants, the hunters are forced to face the death of one of their own. While trying to stop Lucifer, the Winchester brothers are wrongly accused and arrested for his crime - leading Mary and Castiel to turn to an unlikely source to find them. Other notable guest stars include Rick Worthy and Alicia Witt.
