Every year, I dress up for the runDisney Princess half marathon. For the past couple of years, my friend Jen and I have been super creative with matching costumes, but this year we both had a lot going on, and February snuck up on us. We still wanted to dress up and “sort of” match, so we decided to go with clothing we already owned so that we just had to add a couple of accessories to our princess costumes. [Read On!]

It’s almost time! The runDisney Princess Half Marathon is upon us!

runDisney Princess Half marathon race recap 2016. Running through the Magic Kingdom and Epcot for the Glass slipper Challenge.

The first part of the runDisney Glass Slipper Challenge is completing the Enchanted 10k on Saturday morning.

A couple of weeks ago, I ran in my 4th runDisney Princess half marathon. Jen and I had been planning our outfits for years, and finally got the chance to be Anastasia and Drizella, Cinderella’s Stepsisters.

As part of the Glass Slipper Challenge, I participated in the inaugural runDisney Enchanted 10k with my mom.

I was so excited when my mom told me she wanted all four of us to run the runDisney 5k together during Princess half weekend.

Bobby, Jen and I were lucky enough to snag invites to the runDisney Princess half VIP reception that took place on Friday night the weekend of the race.

I did it. I beat the odds. A lot of things were stacked against me going into the runDisney Princess half, but regardless I still managed to have a great job and pull out an almost four minute PR.

The runDisney Royal Family 5k took place on Saturday morning, the day before the Princess half marathon.

So, I ran the Royal Family 5k on Saturday, and then had to get up at 2:45 Sunday for the Princess half marathon.

As most of you know I was given the privilege of hanging out with some amazing bloggers at the end of February for the Princess Half Marathon thanks to runDisney and FitFluential.

Hello from the Grand Floridian! We leave this morning, and while I am sad to leave my favorite resort…I will be happy to sleep in my own bed, and see my husband and pups.

I know I have already told you about my royal welcome Thursday,  Jeff Galloway Meet Up, the Expo, the 5k and the half marathon, and my blogger meet up, but there were a lot of other fun times during my trip as well that I wanted to share with you.
