Gelato Beach is a beach resort location on Isle Delfino in Super Mario Sunshine and is located on the stomach part of the dolphin shaped island, east of Sirena Beach. Its name is most likely derived from Gelato, the Italian word for ice cream. It is the largest and sunniest beach on Isle Delfino and also the resting place of great Legendary Sand Bird egg, which is located inside the Shine Tower; a large stone building in the center of the beach.

Pinna Park is a large amusement park island found in Super Mario Sunshine, the overall island being known as Pinna Island. It is located just off the coast of Isle Delfino's mainland, and forms the "tail fin" of the dolphin-shaped island, hence its name: "pinna" is the Italian term for "fin" (additionally, a yellow Toad near the cannon leading to the island claims the island is called "the pineapple": "pinna" being a pun on "piña", the Spanish word for pineapple).

Pianta Village is the ancestral home of the Piantas on Isle Delfino in Super Mario Sunshine. It is run by the Pianta Village Mayor. Players can get a small glimpse of Noki Bay if the player climbs to the top of the large palm tree in the center of the village, or the top of the tree that Il Piantissimo's finish line is on. As such, Piant Village is the only location where Noki Bay can be seen from the outside.

Aside from the Shines collected in the game's many episodes, there are others dotted around Delfino Plaza and outlying islands, mostly as rewards for completing mini-quests or secret levels. They count towards the Shine total for Delfino Plaza on the map (press Z button) , except for the Delfino Airstrip Shine and Delfino Plaza's 100+ coin Shine.
