SantaCon Hayward is a Downtown Hayward phenomenon of "Santa Stops" where a ton of people dressed like Santa/Ms. Santa go venue-hopping at downtown bars and eateries in support of the Hayward Animal Shelter.
2015 is the 21st anniversary of SantaCon! The first one was in San Francisco in 1994. What is it? It's a convention of santas - groups of men & women dressed as Santa.
Downtown Hayward is the location of Hayward's first SantaCon event. SantaCon Hayward 2012 is a publicly accessible event where guys and girls of legal age dress like Santa and go out on the town for no better reason than that it is great fun
It'll be the 6th Annual SantaCon Hayward event! Come out to support animal rescue efforts! So far, over 90 animal adoptions have been sponsored by SantaCon Hayward efforts. There are more lives to save!
