SantaCon is an annual mass gathering of people dressed in Santa Claus costumes parading publicly on streets and in bars in cities around the world. The focus is on spontaneity and creativity, while having a good time and spreading cheer and goodwill.

Stamford, CT - If you're riding Metro North railroad from Stamford to attend the bar crawl/charity event, the MTA is prohibiting drinking on its trains.

Santas, Mrs. Clauses and their elves descended on the area of Bedford and Main streets, where bars offered drink specials and police patrolled the scene of costumed merry makers. “There were several disturbance calls involving drunk Mr. and Mrs. Clauses and their assorted elves,” Sgt. Robert Shawinsky said.
