This Spring Copenhagen invites to the 10th anniversary of the Copenhagen Sakura Festival, with 200 blossoming cherry trees. 2017 is also the 150th anniversary of Danish-Japanese Diplomatic Relations so the festival is expected to be extra festive.
Since 2008, people flock in Copenhagen in spring to enjoy the colorful Sakura Festival organized by the Copenhagen Sakura Festival Committee with the help of the Copenhagen Municipality, the Embassy of Japan and Japanese firms and cultural groups in Denmark.
