Honestly this movie was a flop. Chris Hemsworth in my eyes does not seem like a "hacker". But if you just like to watch him then go ahead and watch it.

Preparing for the part was all geeking out. The action-star also took kickboxing sessions, since even a nerdy hero has to be able to beat down the occasional heavy.
I don't know any professional computer hackers, to my knowledge, but I do know a few guys who download pirated films and burn bootleg recordings, and none of them could be credibly cast as the Mighty Thor in a Marvel Comics movie.
