Movie Review - - 'A Girl, a Guy and a Gob' at the Criterion and 'Model Wife' at 'the Palace, Both Comedies - NYTimes.com
Harold Lloyd has sent along a ribticklish little comedy, which opened yesterday at the Criterion under the title, "A Girl, a Guy and a Gob." It is Mr. Lloyd's first production in which he has not appeared, and it will do very well. Being a family man at heart, with a love for domestic monkeyshines, he has assembled a household of harebrained folk with a variety of tricks in trade and set them spinning through an hour and a half of harumscarum humor. Maybe the film is a trifle overlong, but most of it is extremely funny.
