Chandni Chowk to China is also known as CC2C and it is a Hindi action comedy with the elements of kung fu. It was released in 2009 and directed by Nikhil Advani. It stars such Bollywood celebrity actors as Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone with such veterans of Indian and Chinese cinematograph as Mithun Chakraborty and Gordon Liu. The film was shot in China as well as in Bangkok and Thailand.

Chandni Chowk is a historic market place in the walled city of old Delhi, so now you understand the title of "Chandni Chowk to China," and because the plot is simplicity itself, there is nothing else to understand but its origins. This is the first Bollywood movie to get a North American release from a major studio, and was chosen, I suspect, because it is a slapstick comedy containing a lot of kung fu. That, and maybe because it stars Akshay Kumar billed as "the heartthrob of Indian cinema and current reigning king of Bollywood."

Chandni Chowk to China (shortened to CC2C) is a 2009 Indian martial arts action comedy film. It is directed by Nikhil Advani and stars Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles with Mithun Chakraborty and Hong Kong action cinema actor Gordon Liu among the co-stars. In addition to being shot in China, many parts of the film were shot in Bangkok, Thailand,[3][4] although some of the China scenes were shot in sets in the Shanghai Film Studio.[4]
