Nope, it isn't as funny as the first. The trio of Raju, Shyam and Baburao are in fine fettle once again. But there isn't much they can do to rustle up the laugh riot as in the kidnapping-gone-awry drama in Priyadarshan's Hera Pheri. Maybe, it's the change of director (this time, the scriptwriter dons the director's mantle). But we aren't so sure about that too, for Priyadarshan who had almost perfected the art of comedy, fails miserably too this week.

Phir Hera Pheri (English: Fraud Business Again) is an Indian comedy film sequel to 2000 film Hera Pheri directed by Neeraj Vora. The film stars the three men from the previous film Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal. Bipasha Basu and Rimi Sen are the new additions in the film. The movie was released on 9 June 2006. Major part of the film has been plaigarised from the British film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
