Lafangey Parindey (English: Cheeky Bird) is a 2010 Hindi romantic drama directed by Pradeep Sarkar, produced by Aditya Chopra and starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The film was released on 20 August 2010 under the Yash Raj Films banner.[2][3][4][5] The story of the film is partially inspired from the 1978 American film, Ice Castles and the 1999 Tamil film, Thulladha Manamum Thullum.[6]
