EBS Universität

The students at EBS Universität receive an education based on the ability to come to terms with uncertainty, with practice-empowered, scientifically sound and internationally oriented preparation, enabling them to take on management functions and social responsibility based on the EBS Code of Conduct. The study programme imparts the outlasting skills for ongoing critical revision and further development of expertise, on the one hand to recognise structures and, on the other, willingness for life-long learning. EBS’ understanding of excellence attracts students and professors who are both talented and enthusiastic, performance-oriented and creative. With the methodical combination of business administration and legal elements, EBS Universität fosters the students’ ability to think critically and to understand interdisciplinary issues, thus providing a particular added value.

The EBS Universität is renowned for excellent research results together with a strong focus on practical use. EBS further education courses are tailor-made for industry’s aspiring management professionals. In July 2016, the EBS Universität became part of the non-profit foundation SRH, in doing so emphasising its social commitment. Our common purpose is to strengthen EBS as an excellent educational institution and to continue its development, building on a foundation of independent research and teaching.

EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht (literally "university for business and law"), more commonly referred to as EBS Universität or simply EBS, is a private research university for business and law located in Wiesbaden and Oestrich-Winkel, founded in 1971. The university's activities focus on three core areas: undergraduate degree programs, postgraduate degree programs and executive education. The EBS Universität has the right to award doctorates and habilitations.
