Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, with its two campus locations in Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort, is a university that is both deeply rooted in the Lower Rhine and connected to the world. Our some 6,000 students, representing altogether more than 107 different nationalities, fill our modern auditoriums, seminar rooms, lecture halls, language centres, libraries, canteens and residence halls, experiencing student life and pursuing a degree in our many programmes.

Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is a young, vibrant university in the Lower Rhine region of Germany which offers innovative and challenging degree programmes as well as first-rate research opportunities in the natural sciences, social sciences, economics, technology and engineering. We currently offer a total of 25 bachelor’s degree programmes and 11 master’s degree programmes, the majority of which are taught completely in English.

Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences (German: Hochschule Rhein-Waal) or HSRW, is a public university with an international orientation.[1] The university opened for the winter semester of 2009/10 and reached full size in 2013, with about 5,000 students. The university has two campuses: in Kleve and in Kamp-Lintfort.[2] The name for the university has been adopted from the German river Rhine and Dutch river Waal. The area between these two rivers have joined to a combined development group. 'Euregio Rhine-Waal'. The university is one of the group's projects. The current President of the university is Dr. Heide Naderer.
