University of Bayreuth

The University of Bayreuth is known for its bi- and multi-lateral dual degree programmes. Equally popular are its Summer School and courses taught in foreign languages. The University is also involved in a variety of research projects with international partners and offers joint doctoral degrees in cooperation with several foreign universities. These are all offshoots of our internationalization strategy, which received a favourable review in an extended audit conducted by the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) in 2012/2013.

It is currently rated among the top young universities according to the Times Higher Education worldwide ranking "150 Under 50". The University of Bayreuth is well-connected internationally and is constantly setting new standards with its innovative responses to social developments and processes. The University of Bayreuth is a public research university situated in Bayreuth, Germany.
