Hedmark University of Applied Sciences (HUAS) was founded in 1994 as the result of a merger of four higher education institutions with long traditions: teacher education founded in 1867, forestry education in 1912, agricultural education in 1923, nursing education in 1927 and business and administration education in 1979.
Hedmark University of Applied Sciences (HUAS) cooperates with over 100 partner institutions from Africa, Asia, Europe and North America through Erasmus+, Nordplus and bilateral agreements.
