Everything you need to know about being a student at the University of Leon

Internationalization is becoming an increasingly important mark for university institutions in Spain and in Europe in general. But what exactly is meant by internationalization? The term often refers simply to the number of students who arrive or leave a university in mobility programs such as the known Erasmus. However, this assessment is, in our view, too limited. We believe that the concept of internationalization should refer to all ongoing activities in a university involving the contact and collaboration of people (whether students, PAS or PDI) and institutions located outside our national physical borders. We also understand by internationalization the fact that it is considered, In a systematic way, the special casuistry of students and foreign personnel in the ULE processes. Viewed from this perspective, the process of internationalization not only affects students and teachers in mobility, but also all administrative services, structures of our curricula and how to teach, research or learn in our university.

The University of León is a Spanish public university with campus in León and Ponferrada.
