Geometry: Exploring the Basics is a 44-page ebook by Laura Candler. The lessons and no-prep printables are designed to help students master those basic concepts of geometry and are aligned with Common Core Standards in Grades 2 - 4. You'll find lots of ready-to-use activities and games for introducing lines, line relationships, and simple polygons. You'll also find a variety of review activities and two forms of a simple paper-and-pencil assessment. This book of lesson ideas and printables will help your students build a foundation of geometry basics so they can tackle more complex geometry problems later.

Polygon Explorations Geometry Lessons Hands-on math lessons are great, but they're even more effective when they're lively and fun, too. Classify It! Exploring Quadrilaterals is an exciting collection of lessons and activities to help students master quadrilateral classification. This packet includes printables and directions for an introductory lesson, a cooperative learning sorting activity, a challenging and fun game, and two quizzes. The student materials are provided in color and the color versions are shown in the teacher directions, but black and white versions are included in the appendix along with variations of some pages. Both of the activities are great for math centers and cooperative learning lessons!

Exploring Perimeter is a comprehensive resource for developing and practicing perimeter concepts. You'll find activity pages, lessons, and hands-on activities to use with grades 2 through 5.

Area and Perimeter Tic-Tac-Toss is a partner math review game for practicing area and perimeter. Two versions of the task cards are included, one with the polygon dimensions given in customary units and the other using metric units.
