In the Place Value Spinner Games pack you'll find a set of two games for reviewing place value. Spin 4 Cash uses play money (patterns included) as "math cash" and Spin 2 Win uses game tokens which could be plastic chips or dried beans. Both games include complete directions and printables, and the game materials are available in both black and white and color.

I'm the Greatest is an engaging activity for comparing numbers and reading word names aloud. You can play this math game with the whole class or have your students play it in cooperative learning teams or math centers. The game involves having students create numbers from randomly-generated digits (0 - 9). After each student creates a unique number, they read their numbers aloud and compare them to see whose number is the greatest. Students can also use the numbers to write word names or expanded form. Place Value Partners is a game for math centers, cooperative learning partners, small guided math groups, or even whole class instruction. The concept is similar to the game Battleship with partners facing each other across a barrier. Instead of ships and a grid, they have a place value game board and number tiles or number cards. One partner is the "Sender" who calls out the numbers and places, and the other is the "Receiver" who listens and builds the number on his or her game board. The two compare boards, discuss the correct response, and then record various forms of the number in their journals or on a recording page.
